STEP 01
The problem arrived in our own projects
NexGen Architects delivers software for enterprises. When AI entered the toolchain, output speed multiplied, and so did the doubt. Code appeared in hours that would once have taken weeks, but who had checked it? Which requirement did it trace to? What would we tell a client’s auditor? The industry’s answer was, in effect, “trust us”. That is not an answer a serious delivery firm can give.
STEP 02
So delivery was rebuilt around governance
We rebuilt our own way of working: a lifecycle where AI agents do the work at every stage, but nothing moves forward until a real, named person has approved it at a gate, with every decision recorded permanently. The work gets done, managed, and governed — together producing the thing the market was missing: trust.
STEP 03
The engine became the product
What began as internal discipline turned out to be what every delivery organisation needs in the AI era. So the engine was separated from the firm and became Hapie: a platform any consulting firm or enterprise can run their own delivery on.
STEP 04
NexGen: founding shareholder, customer zero
NexGen Architects is Hapie’s founding shareholder and its first, permanent customer: every NexGen client project runs on Hapie. We sell what we use every day, on real deliveries, for real clients. When you see Hapie’s numbers, they come from that daily use.

Built by people who have carried delivery accountability themselves.
Hapie’s founding team comes from enterprise delivery and the Salesforce world: people who have signed off releases, sat in front of auditors, and carried fixed-price risk. The platform is shaped by that experience, and the advisory board deepens it.
